In March 2026, Snyder Manufacturing took a trip from Dover, Ohio to the halls of Washington DC. Jolene Meese and Hunter Wells had the honor of meeting with Senator Jon Husted and Congressman Max Miller to advocate for the future of US Textile Manufacturing.
Our industry advocacy ensures that policies like the Berry Amendment and Buy American remain strong to protect American jobs and domestic supply chains. Tariffs have had a positive impact on our business thus far, given we are mainly sourced domestically with raw materials. It was a privilege to stand alongside industry peers from various textile companies for this event.
A huge thank you to the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) USINFI division for their incredible work behind the scenes to make this day of advocacy possible. We had very productive conversations with industry peers and government officials throughout the week.
