Snyder Manufacturing is an American manufacturer of high-performance laminated fabrics, coated mesh and extruded films located in Dover, Ohio.

We deliver on-time, high-quality standard and custom industrial vinyl fabrics, mesh and film for a wide range of applications, for commercial, industrial, and governmental customers in many industries.

Our goal at Snyder Manufacturing Inc. is to consistently provide quality products that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements and expectations and do so at competitive prices.

We use an innovative manufacturing philosophy with a strong commitment to understanding the needs of our customers and provide them with the best value through consistently meeting customer quality requirements, and on time delivery.

By tracking daily Flash Report results, our company is able to utilize goal oriented participative management techniques to examine new ideas, challenge the effectiveness of established processes, and encourage continuous improvement of our QMS to achieve excellence in our products.

Snyder Manufacturing recently partnered with IFAI as a collaborator in the Manufacturing for Good program.

Our fabric and supplies  were used to make fabric bags which were donated to Raintree Children & Family services, a nonprofit organization assisting at-risk children and youth.

We also support the Tuscarawas County Food Bank and Salvation Army.

Our History

Snyder Manufacturing has been meeting the stringent needs of customers for over 50 years, since our founding in 1951 as a first tier supplier to BF Goodrich. The vinyl lamination business launched in 1961 maintained Snyder’s top tier supplier status, winning accolades from the Hoover Company. Today we continue to invest in research and development delivering innovative and custom-engineered solutions.

President

Jolene has been with Snyder since 2014. Oversees Plant Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Scheduling. Creating goals and objectives for each department with an action log of tasks to achieve these goals. Stream-line each department for efficiency. Continue sales growth while maintaining Quality and customer satisfaction.

Plant Manager

Rob has been with Snyder since 2015. His role as Plant Manager means no day is the same. He enjoys working with Snyder’s customers, who come from such a wide variety of industries.

David Robinson headshot
David Robinson
Controller

David Robinson started at Snyder in 2022 as the new Controller. David brings with him twenty plus years of experience in Accounting/Business Management from his past positions at Tusco Display & Manufacturing, Tuscarawas County Board of MRDD, Empire Plastics, Rich Industries and Rea & Associates. David also taught Intro to Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting at Kent State University.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA, Accounting from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

His specialties are Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Plan Sponsor of Company 401K, Human Resource Management, Health and Wellness Benefits Planning and Executive Participant in The Entrepreneurial Operation System (EOS).

Territory Sales Manager

Mike has been with Snyder since 2003. As a Sales Manager, he focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships built on trust, reliability and understanding. Mike is active in the Industrial Fabrics Association International and has served on their affiliated zones SWIFA, MWPFA, WCPA and VA-Carolinas.

Sales Supervisor/Military Sales

Bonnie began working for Snyder in 1988 and left after 22 years, but returned in 2016. During this time, she has worked in both the sales and customer service departments. She enjoys working with a great team, who get along well.  She also likes helping customers from a variety of industries.

John has been with Snyder since 2011. He was formerly a Regional Sales Representative. He looks forward to continuing to help customers in developing new products.

Territory Sales Manager

James has been with Snyder since 2018. He has 17 years’ experience in welding equipment in the industrial textiles industries.  He has worked with a variety of applications including roofing, tents, inflatables, tarpaulins, geomembranes, awnings, filtrations, and tensioned fabric structures.

Materials Manager/Scheduler

Tracey has been with Snyder since 2003. Throughout her time here, she has worked primarily in accounting in costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Over the years she has always been willing to learn new jobs, and help out wherever needed.  She has filled in for purchasing and some in customer service. In her new position, she will be working with management to streamline processes to make them more efficient.

Cost Accountant/Union Payroll

Heather started her career at Snyder Manufacturing in 2022 as the Cost Accountant/Union Payroll. Heather has experience in Accounting/Payroll/Office management, from various companies such as Gift-Ology, Mount Corrick Construction, and Kenan Advantage Group. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Double-Major in Business Administration and Accounting.

Quality Manager

Prior to starting her career at Snyder Manufacturing, Inc., she was Quality Control Technician & color specialist for 7.5 years, serving as Quality Control Supervisor for 2 of those years at Polyflex, a PVC compounding company.

She started at Snyder Manufacturing in January, 1992 as Research & Development Technician & Color Specialist. 

In 2007 she became R & D Supervisor, and continued developing Snyder's custom color palette, adding the role of ISO Manager in 2018. In September of 2021 she received a promotion to Quality Manager.
