Salary Range, depending on experience, $80,000-$100,000

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create process documentation including technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications using engineering and/or design software.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for production equipment and processes.
• Lead projects to drive quality and efficiency improvements in manufacturing.
• Work closely with internal personnel and reports on root cause analysis and resolution of production problems; striving to prevent repeat issues.
• Work under the direction of the Plant Manager to ensure that all processes are safe and compliant with local codes and requirements.
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures in development of next-generation product fabrication equipment.
• Analyze production flow data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of fabrication processes and product designs.
• Apply lean principles in development of plant layouts and process flow implementation.
• Recommend alterations to development and design to continuously improve quality of products.
• Build prototype product alternatives.
• Involved in design, development, specification, testing and costs of mechanical components and equipment with immediate supervision.
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Self-motivated

• Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Time management and organization skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field
• 3+ years experience in related manufacturing
• Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Certification or related work experience a plus
